 With
over 20 years of experience, Dino Dilio is a multi-faceted
freelance make-up artist, specializing in work with
individual clients and with experts in the worlds
of fashion, entertainment, advertising and business.
Born and raised in Montreal, Dino has
been living and working in Toronto since 1986.
Dino was Creative Director, Head Make-up
Artist and Manager for one of Toronto's leading beauty
spas, Mira Linder Spa in
the City. He headed the Fashion Photographic
Make-up Course at Toronto's Complections
International Make-Up School, North America's
top make-up school. He's also served as national make-up
artist and consultant for Revlon
Canada.
Dino has made a name for himself in media
circles. Beauty writers and editors from Canada's
top publications including Canadian
Living, Chatelaine, Elle Canada, Flare, Glamour, The
Globe and Mail, Homemaker, Now, Toronto Life Fashion,
The Toronto Star and
Xtra have sought Dino's expert advice and services
and for feature articles.
For 14 years, he's appeared regularly
as a featured beauty expert and make-up artist on
CITY TV's CityLine
with host Marilyn Denis.
He also writes a column for Cosmetics

Q: Where is your studio?
A: The Dino
Dilio studio is a private and intimate haven for people
wanting to enhance their appearance and self-confidence
for any private or public occasion.
This urban oases is conveniently located in downtown
Toronto - minutes from the College subway station.
Parking is readily available. Directions and the address
will be forwarded to you upon appointment confirmation.
The ambience is designed to make each
session feel special, relaxed, personal and playful.
Refreshments are served.
A dressing room facility is available
if you wish to change prior to going directly to a
special event.
Q: What brands and products do you
use?
A: In addition
to my own line DDB, my
make-up kit is a mélange of many different
brands, colours and textures, mostly in classic and
modern tones, catering to all skin types and tones.
Most products I use are available at major department
and drug stores. Some are purchased through special
order.
Q: Dino, what happens if you're not
personally available?
A: I'm affiliated
with The Group, a network of talented artists who
share my professional standards and philosophies.
I can put you in touch with fellow experts, who are
available for individual or group bookings, at separate
rates.
