Application

Place the tip of the pencil at the outer edge of your eye. Lightly glide the tip along and into the base of the eyelashes towards the inside of the eye. Begin with a thin line. Use the tip of your finger or a small angle eye shadow brush (Link) to move and refine the colour. Repeat for more definition. Layer a matching eyeshadow over top to smoke out the edges and extend longevity. For the waterline, place a freshly sharpened pencil on the moist edge above the lower eyelashes. Without lifting the pencil, run it back and forth. Close and squeeze your eyes together to allow the colour to transfer to the top waterline. Repeat for intensity.
