Most Asked Beauty Makeup Question # 3

This is at the top of my Most Asked Beauty Makeup Questions I am most asked by clients, friends, and family. As a cosmetic product, bronzing powder was originally created with the intended purpose to mimic a sun-kissed glow, (where the sun naturally hits), enhance and warm-up your natural skin tone, or lift a faded tan and extend that sunny summer or vacation feeling. The DDB Riviera Bronzing Powder is a rich bronze brown that is versatile and multi-dimensional. It can take many places in a makeup application as a natural brown shade of makeup. It can stand in for as a natural tone blush and deeper shades are ideal for facial shaping and contour. It can perform as eyeshadow or even sub as lip colour when layered with DDB Crystal Clear Lip Gloss Powder bronzers give you far more control than liquid and cream versions. Bronzing powder is both functional and optional and can be an all-year-round beauty staple.

Application — To avoid a choppy and uneven application it’s key that your skin is dry. Allow serums and moisturizer to absorb completely. If not, apply a light dusting of face powder to ensure a satin smooth surface. Load and prepare the Multi-Purpose Angle Cheek Brush and apply bronzer, as illustrated in the second image above, with broad buffing strokes across the forehead, between the temples, down the nose, over smiling cheeks, on the tip of the chin. It is not the figure three. That is a contour technique, not bronzer. Build, layer, and blend to desired depth and look for a smooth and refined finish. Also works perfectly over the neck and décolleté/chest to seamlessly blend the face to the body. Make sure to bronze the white spot, the middle area between your ladies/Eves apple and collar bone that doesn’t see the sun. Tip: For times when you've had a little sun on your face, double dip your face powder and bronzer, mix on a paper towel and apply. Can also be used on arms and legs. Tip: It’s important not to bronze around the eyes, top of cheek bone, under cheek bone and around the mouth. The contrast prevents your features from getting lost. Buff face powder over an application that came out just a bit too strong.
