The Essential Makeup Session is the product of my transforming hundreds of women on CityLine makeovers, as well as working with a roster of celebrity clients. The lovely and enthusiastic results of these mostly public makeovers inspired me. Why not design an empowering, educational one-on-one makeup experience that would define my personal client’s unique beauty signature? And so The Essential Makeup Session was born, where I bring my professional technique and insider knowledge to one singular goal: revealing a woman’s individual style.

From the Five-Minute Face to Full-On Glam, this is what you can expect from your session:

· Makeup Bag Revamp — I’ll carry out a pragmatic assessment and edit that will update, refresh and streamline your current cosmetic collection. Bring your bottles and jars, pencils and palettes, brushes and blushes and—together—we’ll determine what works and what doesn’t. Let the downsizing begin!

· Skin Care Consultation – I’ll evaluate your daily routine to meet your existing complexion concerns. I’ll offer possibilities with effective and affordable recommendations.

· Face Shape Analysis — Discover your true face shape and the beauty techniques that will balance, shape and sculpt your features.

· Complexion Combination — Learn the best orchestration of concealer, foundation, powder, blush, highlighter, bronzer and contour that’s just right for you.

· Colour Power — I’ll show you how to identify and understand your skin’s natural under- and overtones. The magic of Colour Harmony can help you create colour designs with makeup palettes/schemes that best suit you. Learn the difference between warm, cool and neutral colours and how they can assist in determining your optimal colours choices for enhancing skin tone, eye and hair colour.

· Highlight and Contour — Master the art of illusion using the right order of light, medium and dark colours to shape and sculpt your facial features.

o Eyebrow Architecture — Learn the ABC’s of eyebrows from natural to knock-out.

o Mascara Master Class —Develop expert mascara techniques, including how to select and apply false lashes.

I deliver a generous amount of information in this session. And that can be overwhelming and hard to remember. As a supportive backup, you’ll receive a customized digital Essential Beauty Portrait that you can print out or download to your watch, phone, tablet/iPad or computer. This 30+ page handbook documents every step of your session with illustrations, instructions and recommendations. Your tailored Beauty Portrait highlights all the transformative techniques, details and tips needed to help you replicate your new look beautifully and successfully on your own. As well, the manual includes additional in-depth knowledge about highlighting and contouring, plus notes on colour theory. All to reinforce their place in your portrait.

This add-on to the Essential Makeup Session is perfect for those looking to further enhance their makeup skills. Dino guides you step-by-step through the process, products, and tools needed for self-application. The focus of this lesson is on technique, Dino will demonstrate each step on one side of your face and then help you replicate it on the other. You'll learn how to properly hold and use brushes, load them with makeup, and apply it flawlessly, along with Dino’s amazing tips and tricks.
